Access Control Cabling & Door Preparation
Overview
The following is a guide on preparing doors for cabling and access control hardware. This guide provides specifications based on the door and lock type. This guide serves as recommended guidelines for new construction, where walls are typically open, and there is a rough-in phase for construction.
