Adding Brivo Users to 2N Intercom Directory

Adding Brivo Users to 2N Intercom Directory

Overview

Brivo OnAir is integrated with 2N cloud-based intercom systems where users in the Brivo system can automatically be added or removed from the intercom directory.  The user's name, phone, and unit number are published in the directory.  The phone number published is the number called by visitors using the system.  The following instructions guide you through how to ensure users properly synch to the intercom system.  These instructions assume Latitude Security has performed the following configuration steps:
  1. Intercom is properly licensed and online
  2. Brivo OnAir is connected to the intercom system
  3. A dedicated intercom user group has been added to Brivo OnAir
  4. A custom field exists to indicate the user's location, such as unit number

User Settings in Brivo

1.  Login to Brivo OnAir
2.  Navigate to USERS >> Users and click on the user's name to be added to the intercom directory
3.  The following MUST be exactly as described for the user to sync with the intercom:
      a. IDENTITY TAB
            - A phone number (preferably mobile) must be entered.
            - VERY IMPORTANT - the country code (US = 1) MUST be entered.
            - Omit any dashes or special characters from the number.
            - EXAMPLE: 12223334444

      b.  GROUPS TAB
            - Click the CHOOSE button and select the group indicating intercom directory.  This group may be in addition to any other group(s) the user belongs to.

      c. CUSTOM FIELDS TAB
            - Enter the unit number belonging to the user

The synch is set up on a schedule, so allow up to an hour for the two systems to sync new information.
