If a customer wants to change the date of their birthday party, you don’t need to issue a refund. Instead, you can cancel the original booking and create a new one for the updated date and time.
On the admin side, locate the booking and cancel it by clicking the red X associated with the reservation.
Create a new order
On the admin side, go to Orders > Create New Order.
Add the reservation product (ex. Birthday Party) for the new date and time.
Adjust the order total to $0.00
Apply a Customer Service Adjustable Fee.
Example: If the party room is $300, add an adjustable fee (taxable) of -300.
Enter customer details
Enter the customer’s email address.
The system will autofill their saved details.
Place the order
Submit the new order on the customer’s behalf.
The booking is successfully moved to the new date without issuing a refund or collecting additional payment.
