How to Set Up an All-day Special Event (Ex. Halloween Party)
Scenario: You’re creating a Halloween party event.
- You do not need to limit ticket sales (no capacity cap).
- Customers should only pick the day of the event (no hourly or half-hour time slots).
Quick summary
Create a single-day product for the Halloween party, set it to a specific date, allow unlimited purchases, and block the same date on your regular passes.
Step-by-step setup
1. Create a new product
- Product type: Access
- Title example: Halloween Party — October 31, 2025
2. Set the event date
- In the product Calendar settings, click Edit Calendar.
- Check "Whitelist specific dates (all other dates are blocked).
- Click the green plus (+) under Product Calendar Restrictions (Whitelist)
- Select the date of the special event.
3. Set up the product's Access Control settings
- Set the Access Credential Interval to Days
- Set the Access Credential Length to 1
4. Set up remaining product settings
- Settings Tab:

- Page Content: Include any content you wish to be displayed in the product page
- Email Content: Include anything you wish your customers to receive in the automated email that is sent out upon the purchase of the product.
5. Prevent regular passes from being sold that day
- Go to each day-pass product’s Calendar Settings > Product Calendar Restrictions.
- Under Specific Dates Blocked from Calendar, add the event date (e.g., October 31).
- This ensures customers can’t purchase a regular day pass for that day instead of the special event ticket.
6. (Optional) Add a note to other products
- Add a note to the bottom of your other product descriptions such as: “We’re closed for a private event on October 25. Join us for our Halloween Party instead!”
- You can include a hyperlink in the other products' descriptions to the special event's product page.
