Mobile Pass - Resident Communication Sample

Overview

The following is a sample communication designed to be from property management to residents containing detailed information about claiming and using the Brivo Mobile Pass feature.

Sample Letter

Dear [Resident],

As part of our continued investment at [property name], we are implementing the mobile pass feature with our access control system.  The mobile pass feature enables residents to use their mobile phones (iOS or Android) to unlock building doors.  This feature is in addition to the key fob – either option will work. Your pass will be delivered via email on [enter date here].  You must claim your pass within 72 hours of receiving the email, or the invitation will expire. 

In preparation for a smooth transition, we ask that you familiarize yourself with the following information about claiming your “Mobile Pass” on your phone. 

You will receive an email from brivomobilepass@brivo.com with the subject: Your Brivo Mobile Pass is available.

Other Features

Additional settings can be modified by swiping to the left on any of your devices and tapping the wrench icon. 

  1. Edit Name allows you to change the display name for your device on the Mobile Pass application.
  2. Add to Favorites will pin the device on the welcome screen for easy access.
  3. Add to Siri allows the user to create a personalized voice command through Siri Shortcuts. (iOS devices only)
If you are having trouble accessing the settings menu from the welcome screen, try from the full device list on the search menu.
