ACS-300 Wiring from PDK Single io Door Controller

Overview

This article outlines the wiring diagram for access control systems currently using the PDK Single io Door Controller being moved to the Brivo ACS-300. 
Please note that each installation differs slightly. Verify your connections, the labels in the diagram, and proceed at your own risk!
Before performing any operation on either system. Disconnect the units from power as to not damage any components!

PDK Single io Door Controller

The inputs into the PDK controller are as follows:

Reader Wires
  1. The small RED wire is the reader power.
  2. The small BLACK wire is the reader ground.
  3. The GREEN wire is Data 0.
  4. The WHITE wire is Data 1.
  5. The BROWN wire is the GREEN LED signal.
  6. The YELLOW wire is for the unlock buzzer.
Lock Wires
  1. The BLUE wire is the lock power.
  2. The ORANGE wire is the lock ground.
Controller Power
  1. The large RED wire is the controller power.
  2. The large BLACK wire is the controller ground.

ACS-300 Wiring

Before connecting power cables to the ACS-300, verify that the Power Input is +12V DC otherwise the controller will be irreversibly damaged!!

Reader Wires
Connect the reader wires to the corresponding values on the ACS-300 READER 1 port.
  1. GREEN wire → DATA 0
  2. WHITE wire → DATA 1
  3. Small BLACK wire → GND
  4. YELLOW wire → Buzzer
  5. Small RED wire → 12VDC
  6. BROWN wire → GREEN LED
Lock Wires
Connect the lock wires to the corresponding values on the ACS-300 DOOR LOCK RELAY (1) port.
  1. BLUE wire → NO
  2. ORANGE wire → COM
Power Input
AFTER TESTING VOLTAGE, connect the large RED and BLACK wires to the ACS-300 power input.
  1. Large BLACK wire → GND
  2. Large RED wire → +12V
