Overview
This article provides instructions on how to send Mobile Pass invitations to existing users in Brivo OnAir. Brivo's Mobile Pass allows the user to unlock all of the doors they have access to using a smartphone app. The Mobile Pass provides secure access to a door without the need to memorize a code or carry additional fobs, making it an appealing option for many.
Sending a Mobile Pass Invitation
- Login to Brivo OnAir
- Using the left menu, navigate to Users >> Users
- Use the Search field to find the user that is receiving the Mobile Pass. Start typing in the search field, and the matching names will appear in the list.
- Click on the name of the user to edit their profile
- Scroll down the screen until you see the section labeled Credentials
- Click the link +Assign Credential, and a pop-up window appears
Click on the Mobile Pass option:
The user must have a valid email address to receive the mobile pass invitation and claim the pass. If they have no email in their profile, an email must be added before assigning a mobile pass.
Choose the email that will receive the invitation, then click "Assign Credential"
Remember to Save Changes using the prompt at the bottom of the page or your changes will be reverted!
Mobile Pass invitations must be claimed by the recipient within 72 hours or they will expire. If the invitation expires, a new one must be sent in order to be claimed.
