How to Make a One-Time Time Block Unavailable - For Reservations and Events Products

Scenario

You want to make a single time block unavailable for reservations or events—for example, you’re closing early one day or hosting a private event. You still want that time block to remain available on other weeks.

How to Make a One-Time Time Block Unavailable

1. Go to Orders: From your admin dashboard, click the Create a New Order page.
2. Create a New Order: Click Add Item and select the product (event or reservation) you want to block off.
3. Override the Pricing: If you're simply trying to blackout this time block, override the pricing to $0.
4. Select the Date and Time: Choose the date and time block that you want to make unavailable.

5. Add a Placeholder Customer to the Billing  Address Info section: You can either select an existing customer (for example, your business name) or create a placeholder customer like “Admin Hold.”

6. Place the order: Once the order is created, that time block will be marked as unavailable for others to book.

Tip:
This method lets you reserve time for maintenance, private use, or other special cases without altering your regular weekly availability settings.
