Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up Your Site
After you have successfully
accessed the administrative end of your Rhōmb site, you will need to add the following content before you can begin accepting customer purchases:
1. Create your Waiver
If you want to enforce your customers to sign a waiver before entering your facility, you must add the content of your liability waiver to your site.
From your administrative end, go to Waivers/Notices → Liability Waiver Content
2. Create your Checkout Terms of Service
Create a terms of service that your customers must agree to and check off before being able to checkout.
From your administrative end, go to Waivers/Notices → Checkout TOS Content
3. Create your Recurring Bill Authorization Content
If you plan to offer a product/products with recurring billing (ex. monthly membership), its recommended to add Recurring Bill Authorization content on your site. Including this authorization protects your business in the event a customer disputes a charge, as it provides evidence that the customer acknowledged and agreed to recurring billing terms.
From your administrative end, go to Waivers/Notices → Recurring Bill Authorization
4. Create your Cancellation Email
Include the
content of the automatic email that is sent to a customer after their membership has been cancelled.
From your administrative end, go to Waivers/Notices → Cancellation Email
5. Create your Failed Payment Email
Add the content that is sent to a customer if their recurring membership payment fails.
From your administrative end, go to Waivers/Notices → Failed Payment Email
6. Create your Products
Set
up the products you’ll offer for purchase.
From your administrative end, go to Products → Add Product
7. Access Control
When you receive your Rhōmb site, we configure your access control groups based on the your facility hours/restricted access hours you provided in the project kickoff form. If you would like to modify your access hours, you can do so within your Brivo account.
Once
you've completed every step in this guide, you are free to start entering members and capture payment
info. This can be performed by you as an administrator (Go to Orders
>> Create New Order) or it can be performed by the customer using the
storefront.
IMPORTANT! Any transactions you perform will require a real credit card, and payment will be taken upon purchase. You can test as much as you need, but you should familiarize yourself with Rhōmb Payments to understand how to cancel a payment or issue a refund.
